I spent six years reconciling GSTR-2B against purchase registers in Excel. Every month, for every client. The process was the same: download the 2B JSON, convert it, paste it into a master sheet, write VLOOKUPs, chase the errors, format the output for the client. On a good month with a small client, it took an hour. On a month with a large client and a complex supplier base, it took the better part of a day.

The problem was not just the time. It was the errors I knew I was missing. Manual reconciliation in Excel misses tax-type mismatches — where a supplier files IGST but you've booked CGST/SGST. It misses cross-month invoices. It misses duplicates buried three hundred rows down. And every missed mismatch is a potential notice, a disallowed ITC claim, or a liability that your client will hold you responsible for. I wanted a tool that checked everything, produced output I could put directly in a client file, and — crucially — never touched my clients' data. I could not find one that met all three criteria. So I built it.
